On 1 February 2018, we had the honor to participate in the 7th SOSEXPO International Waste Management Forum as a recycler of packaging waste. The Forum has already become a fixture in the calendar of events focused on waste management as one of the most prominent and compelling Polish events of the industry. During the Forum, we participated in a conference divided into two main panels: “The Union Package for Circular Economy—what are its goals and what it means to Poland” and “Innovation: mechanisms, examples, and risks.” The participants were also extremely interested in the workshops addressed not only to sector entrepreneurs but also to local government officials: “How to implement new rules for the selective collection of municipal waste and achieve ecological goals by December 31, 2020?” and “Standards for secondary raw materials expected by processing plants—requirements of packaging waste recyclers”.
